Keep any application ‘always on top’ in Windows
The always on top option is basically a way to pin a window in front of all others, even when it is not in focus. While this feature is most common in media player apps, you may want to use it elsewhere, like a document editor or second Web browser.
The How To Geek recently shared a post about the best ways to make a window always on top. This post will cover the easiest method from the list. You can check out all of their tips on the How To Geek site. Let’s get started:
Step 1: Install a copy of TurboTop. Head to this page and then click on the download link near the bottom.
As HTG (How To Geek) points out, this is an older tool (which you may have noticed from the website date of 2004), but still works great.
Step 2: When the app attempts to open, click Run. Follow the install wizard, and decide where you want TurboTop shortcuts to appear.
Step 3: The icon for TurboTop will appear in your system tray. Right-click it, and select the name of the window you want to make always on top. You can repeat this step to remove the always on top status.
Now you’ll be able to constantly see the windows you need to, while hiding the ones you don’t.
