How to use the Galaxy S6 Edge left-handed
The edge display on
Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge
has a few cool tricks that make it versatile, like keeping contacts close with
People Edge
or showing notifications and updates with
Information Stream
.
By default, these features show up on the right edge of the screen, but if you’re a southpaw, Samsung gives you the option to switch sides.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to the phone’s settings app, and choose Edge Screen.
- Scroll to Edge screen position and tap it.
- Pick the side you want the features to appear, right or left.
- Touch the back arrow at the top and you’re done.
Now all of the nifty features of the Edge screen will show up on the side you want. For People Edge, swipe in from the left side to see your contacts. When one of those people calls or texts you, and the screen is facing down on a table, the left side will glow to alert you.
Information Stream appears on the left, too; just swipe back and forth along that edge to bring it up. The other Edge screen feature, Night Clock, will appear on the left, too.
